Jeffrey Tjan, DDS
Dr. Jeffrey Tjan came from humble circumstances while his parents were Christian ministers. Both aspects taught him to reach out to those less fortunate and serve the community by valuing quality. He believes that quality costs money but poor quality costs even more money.
Dr. Tjan graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2014. He has proficient training in restoring dental implants, performing root canals, orthodontic treatment, wisdom teeth extractions and comprehensive full mouth rehabilitations/smile makeovers. He frequently attends continuing education courses to add to his knowledge of dentistry. Dr. Tjan is a proud member of the American Dental Association®, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association and the Texas Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Tjan has been practicing dentistry in Austin for almost 10 years. As a dedicated dentist, his mission is to provide exceptional, personalized care in a practice he will own and operate until retirement. He is committed to maintaining a solo practice, ensuring that he is the only dentist caring for his patients.
His passion for dentistry drives him to focus on quality over quantity, growing smaller rather than larger. He believes that true quality is proven over time, and this can only be achieved through consistent, long-term care. By remaining the sole owner and operator of his practice, Dr. Tjan is committed to the long-term success and accountability that his patients deserve.
One of his goals is to offer as many treatment options in-house as possible, so patients do not have to juggle multiple offices and doctors. He believes this approach enhances the quality of care, as it allows for a more comprehensive and continuous treatment plan. He holds his implants and root canals to the same standards as specialists and will always involve a specialist if a case is beyond his scope. However, the more services he can offer personally, the better it is for his patients. Dr. Tjan has pursued extensive continuing education to be able to place and restore implants, perform root canals and provide Invisalign® treatment.
Dr. Tjan aims to build lifelong relationships with his patients, offering continuity and stability in their dental care. This personal approach allows him to provide the highest level of attention and expertise. He does not plan on expanding to multiple locations because he believes in the importance of a personal relationship that cannot be replicated on a larger scale.
